Dena G. Willmore '67

     Dena is the immediate past chair of the Ripon College Board of Trustees, having served in the role of chair from 2003 to 2009. Willmore, of Buckland, Mass., joined the Board in 1993. She is a retired partner with Wellington Management Company.
     After graduating with a degree in philosophy from Ripon in 1967, Willmore joined Wellington as the youngest adn only woman in the partnership that took the company, then a publicly traded company, private in the early 1980's. She was instrumental in forming the Wellington Management Co. Charitable Fund, which supports programs to improve educational opportunities for disadvantaged youth.
   Upon retiring from Wellington, Willmore began focusing he energies on the nonprofit sectore, including raising funds for a women's shelter by riding her bicycle from California to Florida. She has remained committed to Ripon College as a longtime supporter of the Annual Fund, Endowment Fund and Ripon athletics. She is a member of the College's Leadership Alliance adn a Partner in the Legacy.
