This policy is specific to times when as a group you would like to have privacy for a house meeting, Initiation, or another event. The guidelines about how to obtain this in the residence halls is spelled out in this document and must be followed.
There will be no confusion about this policy with the Residence Life staff and their rounds or you as an organization. If this policy is not enacted then the Residence Life staff will enter your lounges and chapter rooms on rounds- most specifically to be sure that windows are closed on the first floor in non student rooms of every building each night.
