This version adds another sheet that also includes G&P's way of changing the social welfare function to reflect concerns about sustainability.
Some questions I came up with earlier that complement our discussion in class 1/19/18.
The Stata software required to use these commands for hedonic regression is installed in the TW 318 computer lab.

The first five minutes of the first Australian Broadcasting Corporation video report are the most important, though after 11 minutes into it, international trade issues are also addressed.
In the case of the Detroit incinerator, following the link to YouTube will open the first of three 5-minute segments of a Detroit Free Press video report. Watch at least the first, and preferably all three.
For the Baltimore incinerator, the key parts are the two embedded videos, at the top and in the middle.
This relates only to the use of the 6th edition as a back-up source of readings, as mentioned in the syllabus, until the 7th edition is processed for reserve use in Lane Library.
This poster lists Economics program student assistants who are available to help you as drop-in tutors for several courses. This course is not listed because, as a junior-level course offered every other year, no current students previously took it. The student assistants, however, should be able to help with basic aspects of economic analysis such as supply and demand, benefit and cost comparisons and efficiency, etc.
This spreadsheet shows the schedules of the departmental assistants who can serve as drop-in tutors. They can be found in the Todd Wehr 318 computer lab or the workroom (Todd Wehr 319) behind it.
This sample past exam is meant to illustrate the format of this year's exams, not the details of their content, which could vary substantially from past years'.

Read Coase’s comments on “The problem of social cost," the source of the Coase "Theorem." They start more than halfway through. Other parts of his work that he addresses here are less relevant to our course. This is also linked to Efficiency lecture slide 10, which you'll see released on Wed. 2/14.
By the way, Oliver Williamson, another Nobel Laureate mentioned by Coase, studied at Ripon College in the 1950s.

Follow these guidelines in directing your participation in class sessions.
This is an example of a paper with APA-style format overall and in documentation of sources. It was written for a different class and assignment, so the content and details of the comment at the top about including scholarly sources don't apply in the same way here. It was similar to this course's research project paper, however, in its use of library research and some data, and shows how to include at least one figure in an appendix and refer to it in the text.
